Welcome to our first Mentorship news post… about news!
We were thrilled to have our article featured in MIIS Communications last week, which gained quite a lot of attention on Facebook, LinkedIn, and through the “This Week at MIIS” October 19 email. In the article, we talk about our process in setting up the program, and our initial reactions after round 1 of applications was completed.
It’s continued to be a very positive learning experience since the time this was written, and we’ve heard many stories of what people have been up to with their mentors/mentees. We’re excited to see how the program changes over this next year or so, and what effect it will have on the MIIS L10n community.
